This is not our favorite station. We  pulled up about 1 pm on Jan. 8, one of those subfreezing days, and found only one of 26 docks available to receive our bike. And what we got was a bad case of dock lock.

Cafe: Starbucks 2 blocks south on 9 Ave; Stone St. Coffee Co. 1 block north

Subway:  C, E at 8 Ave & 23 St.
