Tuesday evening: Those bikes on Broadway just went poof

  • Broadway & W 37 St, taken down for Super Bowl events, went back in service this pm.  At 5:30, it and Broadway & 39, which came back online yesterday, were both bikeless. Guess they were missed.
  • Another new low in the available bike count.

Is it too weird if a chart can make you laugh? This one did.  The Front & Gold station in the Vinegar Hill section of Brooklyn has been flatlined since 8:30 pm last Tuesday.
Then this afternoon a single bike shows up. And if the chart is to be believed, that bike is taken about one minute later.

Bikes available at 5:30 pm today: 3281 (new record low)

Bikes available at 5:30 pm yesterday: 3318 (that was a record)

Bikes available at 5:30 pm a week ago: 3621

NotSpots at 5:30 pm am today: 31

NotSpots at 5:30 pm am  yesterday: 40

NotSpots at 5:30 pm a week ago:  49 (storm or recovery)

Out of service:
Broadway & W 37 St station came back online this pm. That leaves one remaining Super Bowl casualty

The NotSpot kings:
Brooklyn: Park Ave & St Edwards St at 10 bikeless hours
Manhattan: W 52 St & 9 Ave at 11.5 hours
