Noon status in Manhattan
The situation in Manhattan has greatly improved -- 6 unusable stations, down from 13 in the morning. The real standout is Liberty St & Broadway, across from the infamous Zuccotti Park. Ain't no bikes occupied this station in almost three days.
Most telling about the storms’s impact is the average length of a NotStop. At the noon survey, it was 14 hours; at the morning survey, 11 hours.

Brooklyn is faring much worse than Manhattan. Thirteen percent of the borough’s stations are unusable versus two percent across the river.
Only two stations that were NotSpots last night had reopened by noon, so no sense talking average times.MIDDAY SURVEY REPORT | 1/5/2014 12:00:00 | |
